UK & US Elections mean the rotating slideshow of human detritus on media has really kicked up a notch. Why are such awful people so popular?

I recall back in simpler times when phones took shite photos and PAYG credit was squandered on texts, and a certain Texan simpleton was the worst thing to have happened to politics; many described said simpleton’s appeal as well, you could have a beer with the guy.
